The Best Wife!

You seriously couldn't find a better wife than me. I share everything with my dear husband... even my cold AND my flu!!! I know, I know. Best Wife Award right herr! :) So Patrick and I spent the weekend in bed, and trust me, it's not what you think. We laid there watching T.V. (I'm really good at that!) covered in cough drop wrappers, crumbled up tissues, and throat lozenge boxes. Very romantic, let me tell you! It was the laziest weekend we've ever spent together. I got up to run to the grocery store because we were starving and our pantries were bare. We ended up scrounging whatever I had picked up at the store with what we had at home, and came up with a do-it-yourself taco salad. It actually was pretty good and helpful because, being sick, we both wanted different things in our salad and this was our solution.

Even when we're both sick, we know how to eat in style! It was great we had hamburger, lettuce, sour cream, fresh tomatos, lots and lots of cheese, and green onions (not my favorite, but patrick likes them.) We even had Sparkling Cider. I know, I had a weird craving at the grocery store and it seemed like a nice addition to our dinner.
